Van Metre & Associates was established in 1977.  Broker, owner Fred Van Metre is a graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa with a degree in Business Administration & Education.

Fred has a farm background and has been active in the listing and selling of farmland.  He has utilized the auction method in farmland and commercial real estate over the years to establish a reputable, successful business. 

The residential side of Van Metre & Associates is headed by Valerie Alkire.  Valerie has been licensed since 1994. She is knowlegable in all aspects of real estate.  Valerie holds a GRI and handles the closings and trust funds for the company.

Sami Bunn,  REALTOR-Associate is active in residential sales.  Their professional work ethics are second to none in the central Iowa area.
